Amazon recently updated App Icon on Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
The app logo – previously showed a graphic of a shopping trolley.
The new design appears to be based on a brown Amazon parcel box, with the company’s signature smile and blue tape.
The new app icon, which was launched this year in January, featured a brown cardboard box design with a blue-coloured strip of tape on it. Some said that the blue-coloured tape, situated above the company’s signature smiling “arrow” logo, had an uncanny resemblance to the infamous toothbrush moustache worn by Adolf Hitler. Hitler’s face is so recognizable many people claim to “see” it in inanimate objects. so Amazon slightly changed in blue tap design
However, the company has not addressed whether the subtle design change was in response to comparison to the Nazi dictator.
Amazon Spoke person says “Amazon is always exploring new ways to delight our customers. We designed the new icon to spark anticipation, excitement, and joy when customers start their shopping journey on their phone, just as they do when they see our boxes on their doorstep”
